I'd pay for MT...

I would have paid for MovableType. In fact, I had already donated some money for the current version a long time ago. But the proposed licenses put me in an uncomfortable position.

I’ve been trying, for some hours, to understand what is it that bothers me so much about it (read more in spanish) and I finally think I can explain it.

The only possible outcomes I have right now are:

Break the law and/or act immorally and use MT without paying for it.
Break the law and/or act immorally and pay for the cheapest version (which is already too expensive) and then disregard any limits imposed in the license.
Be stupid and pay SixApart all the money they want me to pay them, because I think $200 is too much for my 10 blogs and who knows what I would have to pay if I want to add another one.
Give up and take my content to a different manager, with all the past and future effort that implies.

The problem, as might have noticed, is that none of the exits can make me feel good and happy. There is no “reasonable” license for my particular case.

Every posibility puts me in a position I don’t want to be. I want to pay, but I want to feel good about it.
